The 2024 PBS Reno Spotlight Awards & Auction is Tonight!
 This year’s fundraiser for PBS Reno honors Rick Reviglio and
15 extraordinary finalists across five categories

RENO, NV (SEP 20, 2024)One Extraordinary Philanthropist. Fifteen Extraordinary Finalists. More than 570 event tickets sold to people who love and support PBS Reno, its programs, and educational outreach initiatives. A spectacular auction experience featuring live and silent items. Plus, a surprise character from the PBS KIDS lineup for some great photo ops!

All of the above and more can be expected tonight during the 2024 PBS Reno Spotlight Awards & Auction at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino’s Grande Expo Hall in downtown Reno. Doors open at 5pm. PBS Reno will reveal the winner of each of the following categories: Extraordinary Business, Educator, Student, Individual, and Community Group. The winners were chosen by the community after more than 3,000 votes were cast online in July.

“We are excited to host PBS Reno’s largest fundraiser of the year, the Spotlight Awards and Auction,” said Emma Glenn, PBS Reno Vice President of Development. “This event celebrates the outstanding individuals, organizations, and businesses that make a significant impact in our community. Our finalists, nominated by the community, reflect the true spirit of northern Nevada, showcasing exceptional dedication, innovation, and commitment to service. Their achievements not only inspire us but also help support the vital work we do at PBS Reno to educate and uplift our community.”

PBS Reno will also celebrate Rick Reviglio, the 2024 Extraordinary Philanthropist, by highlighting his work throughout the region. Reviglio serves as General Manager and President of Western Nevada Supply.

“PBS Reno is thrilled to honor Rick Reviglio,” said Diane Barrett, PBS Reno Community Partnership Director. “Rick, a well-known and respected Reno-ite, is known for his humility and long-time support of PBS Reno. Beyond his contributions to our station, he is also a generous supporter of numerous local organizations, particularly those dedicated to improving the lives of youth in our community. His exceptional generosity and character have earned him widespread admiration from all who know him.”
